While it isn't germane to such, I have encountered websites that detail the positioning of books on author's shelves after their death: William Gaddis being the most famed.
That would be a valuable contribution if you shared some of those with us, Jon, as you again encounter them.
It's my understanding that Jon is a contributor, as well, to the following Web log, appropriately enough, that pays tribute to Gaddis himself.
